Spamoo is a community-based online spam filtering service.

Spamoo has a standard Bayesian filtering system, which is constantly trained by Spamoo itself. Spam emails are being harvested by Spamoo's honey-pot email addresses, which spammers pick up from chatrooms, newsgroups and several 'popular' places.

In addition to the standard filtering service, Spamoo members have the option to include their own filtering criteria, such as white/black-listing email addresses, overriding certain key words in Spamoo's database.

An optional Moderator Filter is also available, which includes all the good/bad key words/phrases contributed by Spamoo moderators. This is by far the most effective filtering service as moderators are constantly adding/removing words/phrases from the Moderator Filter, which is able to pick up trendy and innovative spams immediately.

Spamoo allows the Internet community to report spam activities and is able react to these reports and update the filtering database promptly. We believe Natural Intelligence is the most effective way to fight spams.

Simply put, Spamoo gives power back to the community, and is programmed to learn and identify a spam email quickly, even if that spam slipped through initially.
