Full Tutorial

There are two filtering mode in Spamoo, Manual and Automatic.

Start with Manual Mode:
In this mode, you need to personally log in and check emails at Spamoo.
 · Step 1: Log In (Please Register if you haven't already done so).
 · Step 2: (Optional) Add your POP3 MailBox.
 · Step 3: (Optional) Set up your Preferences.
 · Step 4: Click Filter Now!
 · Step 5:
    (a) If POP3 Password wasn't supplied in Step 2, you'll be asked to enter it now.
    (b) Otherwise Spamoo will start the filtering automatically.
 · Step 6: From here you can delete, report and despam emails based on the results.

Start with Automatic Mode:
 · Step 1: Log In (Please Register if you haven't already done so).
 · Step 2: You must add a POP3 MailBox.
 · Step 3: Set up your Preferences. You must set Filtering Mode mode to Automatic.
 · Step 4: Sit Back and let Spamoo filters for you.
 · Step 5: You will use your email software to check as usual.
 · Step 6: A Spam Report will be sent to you at your preferred time interval.
 · Step 7: You can follow hyperlinks in the Spam Reporter to view those caught spams.
 · Step 8: You have an option to forward (to you) or report it as a false positive.
If this is your first time switching to Automatic Mode, it is recommended to test your POP3 details by cilcking on 'Filter Now'.

Changing from Manual to Automatic Mode:
You won't be able to switch to Automatic Mode in My Preferences until you have supplied your POP3 Password in My MailBox.

Changing from Automatic to Manual Mode:
If you 'empty' your POP3 Password, Filtering Mode will be switched back to Manual by the system. Alternatively, you can update My Preferences and switch the Filtering Mode to Manual. In the latter scenario, your POP3 Password will remain and you can click Filter Now to check your mailbox manually.
